Norwood scale
The seven-stage classification of male pattern hair loss.
The standard seven-stage scale describing how male pattern hair loss progresses, from a slight temple recession at stage 2 to a horseshoe of hair at stage 7. Clinics use it as shorthand because it predicts roughly how many grafts a case will need.
