Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is the most widely used hair transplant technique today. Individual follicular units are harvested one by one from the donor area and placed along a hairline designed for your face — with no linear scar.
How FUE works
A micro-punch removes grafts from the permanent zone at the back and sides of the scalp. Tiny channels are then opened at the recipient site, controlling the angle and density so the result looks natural as it grows in.
The procedure, step by step
- Consultation & planningYour donor capacity and hairline are assessed and a graft plan is agreed before the date is set.
- Donor extractionGrafts are harvested individually under local anaesthesia.
- Channel openingRecipient sites are opened at the correct angle and density.
- ImplantationGrafts are placed one by one to build a natural hairline.
FUE vs FUT
| FUE | FUT |
|---|---|
| No linear scar | Linear donor scar |
| Faster healing | Longer healing |
| Grafts placed individually | Strip removed then dissected |
A natural hairline is designed, not just filled in.
