What actually happens, in order
From the first message to the last follow-up a year later. Including the parts that are paperwork rather than medicine, because those are the ones that go wrong when nobody mentions them.
-
Step 1 · Day one
You send photographs and a few questions
WhatsApp, email or the form — whichever you prefer. What we need is photographs in daylight from the angles relevant to the procedure, your age, and anything about your health or medication that a surgeon would want to know. No deposit and no call required.
-
Step 2 · Within 48 hours
A surgeon reviews them and writes back
Not a coordinator with a template. A surgeon tells you what they would do, what they would not, and whether you are a candidate at all. If the answer is that you should wait or treat something else first, that is what you will be told.
-
Step 3 · Within 48 hours
You get a written quote
One figure, with what it covers written underneath and what it does not written beside it. Hotel nights, transfers, medication and the follow-up year are already in it. If a second session is likely, that is said now rather than later.
-
Step 4 · When you are ready
Dates are confirmed and the trip is booked
We check surgeon availability against the dates you can travel, confirm the nights you need and send the itinerary. You book your own flights; we book everything on this end.
-
Step 5 · Arrival day
You are met at the airport
A driver meets you at arrivals and takes you to the hotel. Nothing is scheduled for that evening. Your coordinator checks in once and then leaves you alone.
-
Step 6 · Procedure day, morning
Bloods, examination and the final plan
Tests first, then the surgeon examines you and goes through the plan with a mirror and a marker. This is where a plan gets changed if it needs changing, and where you can still say no.
-
Step 7 · Procedure day
The procedure
Your coordinator is reachable throughout and will message anyone you ask them to. Afterwards you are taken back to the hotel, or kept overnight if the procedure calls for it.
-
Step 8 · The days after
Checks, first wash and aftercare
Follow-up appointments are on fixed days and the transfer is included for each one. You are shown how to do the aftercare yourself rather than handed a leaflet about it.
-
Step 9 · Departure day
Final review and the flight home
A last examination, your medication, written aftercare in your language and the transfer to the airport. Anything found at this appointment gets dealt with before you fly.
-
Step 10 · Months one to twelve
Follow-up from home
Scheduled check-ins at one, three, six and twelve months — photographs by message, reviewed by the surgeon who operated. If something is not progressing as it should, this is how it gets caught.
Work out the practical side
Dates, nights, costs and the city itself.
