The timeline
Days are counted from the procedure. Where a range is normal, the earlier end is shown — ask your surgeon before taking it as the date.

Day 0 · Procedure
Surgery day
Ninety minutes under general anaesthetic, one night in hospital. A surgical bra is fitted before you leave.

Day 1 · Check-up
Discharge and first dressing
You walk the same day. Tightness across the chest is normal for the first week.

Day 6 · Travel
Safe to fly home
Travel after the wound check, wearing the support bra and compression socks.

Day 7 · Work
Back to desk work
Desk work from one week; nothing involving lifting or reaching above shoulder height.

Day 14 · Daily care
Sleeping on your side
Back-sleeping only for the first two weeks. The support bra stays on day and night for six.

Day 28 · Exercise
Lower-body exercise
Legs and light cardio from week four. No chest or shoulder training.

Day 42 · Exercise
Full training
Upper body and swimming can resume at six weeks.

Implants have settled
The implants drop into their final position and the shape softens.

Final result
Scars have faded and the breast feels natural to touch.
Recovery varies between people. Smoking, diabetes, how big the case was and how carefully the aftercare is followed all move these dates, usually later rather than earlier.
How long to stay in Istanbul
The package allows 6 nights, which covers the procedure, the checks and the final review before you fly. Staying one extra day is the cheapest insurance against a flight that gets moved.
